By the way, for those who are curious with who I am and with my motive in writing my comments.

I can tell you I am nobody, I am just blogging like most of you and I love this freedom of speech. I am a Hong Kong Chinese who grew up in Europe for the 10 years of my childhood. I had my little share of racsim in the earlier days but no major damage done. Overall I like the people in UK and Europe as I had many great friends and colleagues there. My brother in-law is an American and he is real great guy. I worked in a multi-national company and in my company I worked with over 10 different nationality. What I am trying to say is I fell lucky I live (until now) in an era or places where I don't suffer from war. I did learned in school about WWI & II and the few others wars of the present days and I truly feel bad for those who suffer especially I am powerless to stop. I might be naive but I still look up to leadership and politicians that has the power to change for the better. I just like to share my wish to those who also beg for peace! Do whatever it takes to help give peace a longer extension and beware who and how you support others, it might not be the peace you were hoping for.

Banban, I don't know where are you from and whether you have your hearts for China or not as it does not really matter, because what you said is fair re: "everyone has to be critical about what they think right or wrong", though I would rather say everyone has the right to speak on what they believe and that's why I hold no grudge when people speak against China. In fact, China probably needs it or else it won't change for the better.

What disturb me is not that China is not changing and in fact they are getting better than the past by far. I am not saying just economically but behavior wise. Imagine, carrying a population of 1.3 billion people, they did not kncok on your door step and expect your tax money goes to their aid. They actually lifted 100 of millions people from poverty by working hard. They have also extended many efforts to demonstrate their willingless to be part of the global community. They are changing for the better, maybe not as fast as some may have the patience for. Now God bless you with a good son or daughter but was it always as easy to change your kids behavior to suit you well, and I am talking about only a few kids in your family.

Truly there is no love for China for many and I can accept that but if we truly think China is a great threat due to its size, military, economic and whatever 5000 years of history they may have carried. Then you should be able to understand that the Chinese are also capable of protecting its self esteem and without your true love, I can't see why they want to listen and believe your motive behind your protest and critisim. So what makes any country think that they can actually pressure or submit China to behave and change the way they want? Perhaps if you all gang up together again and attack him like a apck of wolves? Thats' probably thanks to your threat and your behavior China is building up its money in the bank and its military. You see, it takes two hand to clap! In fact, with China's past suffering from the barbaric invasion from the european country, can you blame China for not trusting the West? Many intellitual know what I am saying and so do any politicians as they better understood this rationale then me. Unforturnately, I don't believe their bias and stubborn were caused by their ignorance but rather from their selfish motive. Most politicians are not stupid and ignorant but some may choose to benefit from the crisis of others and that's what I call for opportunity.

Last final comments, the Chinese have access to the knowledge of the west is not because they were "spying" but rather they respected the west and were humble enough to learn. The west should understand this and dare to continue to help and lead China to become a more agreeable country. It will takes time but as along as we don't fight with each other in a war, we can help and secure each other benefit. We can be in the same team and help the next country to become our friends and not another foe. Now some people in West are actually losing confidence on themselves, thus losing leadership, they don't spend time to learn of other is either they are afraid to see the truth or that they feel too superior. Either way, they may lose the race as they spend too much time looking behind instead of forward. Now that would be a real shame cause China already paid for their arrogant attitude over the last century as they were otherwise the leading nation for many century before but being too arragont would always make you stumble one day. If the west are truly more superior, then don't fall into the same mistake. It takes a giant one century to recover, even if it takes you one fifth of the time, is enough for you to regret.
